Systemet har en batterikapacitet, der tillader mere end 10 timers brug og har en rækkevidde på 150 meter fra TAB-enheden til fotocellerne.
Witty TAB displayet kan benyttes som standalone system sammen med fotocellerne eller sættes op i kommunikation med Witty timerenheden (datalogger)

Som standalone system kan Witty TAB programmeres med egne protokoller eller man kan benytte de prædesignede protokoller:
